To get the Chronological Feed on Instagram, all you have to do is tap on the tiny inverted caret icon located on the app’s home screen, next to the Instagram logo.
To toggle between the two feed options (following and Favorites) you will be required to go to the settings tab. Upon selecting Instagram’s Following feed, the users will be able to “see the latest posts from accounts that you follow, in the order they were posted.”
The Instagram’s head stated that these settings are designed to “shape Instagram into the best possible experience,” as “new ways to catch up on recent posts from the accounts you follow.”
This new feature will be made available to all iOS and Android users. If you are unable to spot the update, it is because you must be using an old Instagram version. To get this amazing update, all you are required to do is update your Instagram app to its newest version.
What Is Instagram Favorites And How To Get It?
As soon as the updates were announced, users had taken it to Twitter and other social media applications. Following the popularity of these features Meta Press revealed that they are:
“Going to add more recommendations to your feed based on your interests.”
The feature was made available to some users and a very few of the users got to test this feature. However, the chronological feed will be made available for all the users very soon.
The second feature, Instagram Favorites will enable the users to star up to 50 accounts. After staring up the accounts, the users will be able to see posts from people on this list. The posts will further appear with a star icon just like the stories that can be made available for close friends.
You will also be able to witness a separate Favorites feed that will feature the most recent posts from your favorite accounts.
Your friends are not going to know whether you have added or removed them from your favorite lists.
