A 24 year old TikTok user has become popular on TikTok, after showcasing her before and after jaw surgery appearance. She has also shared a time-lapse of her journey, starting from the day before surgery till 1 month after the surgery. Jax has undergone temporomandibular joint (TMJ) replacement surgery.
For the readers who don’t know much about temporomandibular joint, it is a jaw disorders impact the jaw’s joints and can cause a lot of pain. The TikTok video creator was suffering from idiopathic condylar resorption that impacted her overall face and caused several medical problems.
While talking about the disorder, Jax explained in one of her TikTok videos, “I could not bite into food, it was hard to chew food, obviously I was in a lot of pain … when [my lower jaw] went back, it would close up my airway and I couldn’t breathe,”
Jaw Surgery Before After
Her surgery took place in December 2020. She got her jaw replaced with TMJ and a titanium jaw that helped her align her teeth. In one of her videos before the surgery, Jax said ““My teeth will touch for the first time in almost 10 years,”
It took almost a week for Jack to get rid of the bandaids and she finally showcased her physical changes. Though she uploaded her overall appearance after removing the bandaids, but she said that she felt the positive effects of the new TMJ almost immediately.

Jax looked so happy after she had the surgery. While talking about her excitement one user commented “Omg this is amazing!” “You look so happy!” while another added “Wow I didn’t expect that, you look so happy!”
