Stevie Nick Dream TikTok: A Viral TikTok Debut

TikTok is one of the most widely used apps across the globe. There are over 800 million active users, it’s been downloaded over a billion times, and it seems to be growing daily. Especially now during the interesting time we’re in with quarantine, many people are at home and are turning to TikTok.

TikTok is here and its next biggest social media trend. The reason for this is due to the fact that you don’t know exactly what is going to go Viral on TikTok. Therefore producing a wide variety of content gives you more opportunities for going viral. If you create super content, once one video goes viral your entire feed will start to go viral on TikTok.

Ever since viral skateboarder Nathan Apodaca posted a TikTok of himself drinking Ocean Spray cranberry juice and vibing to “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, the classic song has found new life on social media. As many, posting their own gliding clips with cranberry juice in hand. The band’s 1977 hit playing in the background another viral challenge was born. And now Stevie Nicks has joined in to show us all how it’s done.

The music legend and Fleetwood Mac member made her TikTok debut yesterday with her own take on the “Dreams” challenge. But instead of riding a skateboard, she laced up her roller skates at a piano. Don’t worry, she still had an Ocean Spray bottle in the background.

Stevie Nicks decided to pay homage to the phenomenon by lacing up a pair of roller skates and singing along to the song herself.

Who Is Stevie Nick?

Stevie Nick is an American singer and songwriter. Nicks is a songwriter and vocalist with Fleetwood Mac and also performs solo. She is famous for her distinctive voice, mystical stage persona and poetic, symbolic lyrics.

 Her work both as a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist has produced over 50 top 40 hits. It sold over 120 million records, making Fleetwood Mac one of the  bestselling music bands of all the time.

Stevie Nick made her TikTok debut on Tuesday. For her first clip Nicks nodded to TikTok user Nathan Apodaca, aka @420doggface208 on TikTok. Who went viral on the app with a video of him skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac.

In her new video, Nicks is seated at a piano as she laces up a pair of roller skates. She sings along to the Rumors hit as it plays on a turntable beside her, which is flanked by a bottle of cran-raspberry juice. “Afternoon vibe,” she captioned the clip, which she also shared on Twitter. “Lace ’em up!”

Stevie Nick Dream On TikTok

Last month, Fleetwood Mac showed their approval of Apodaca’s video when they shared it on Twitter and wrote, “We love this!” Apodaca’s clip inspired several others on TikTok to recreate his video.

Since Apodaca’s video went viral on TikTok, “Dreams” has been climbing the charts. It rose to no.11 on Rolling Stone‘s Top 100 Songs chart earlier this week.

Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks has posted a video responding to Nathan Apodaca’s recent viral ‘Dreams’ TikTok. In his video, Apodaca skateboards to the tune of Fleetwood Mac’s hit song ‘Dreams’ while drinking cranberry juice from the bottle.

Now, Nicks has returned to serve, posting a video in which she laces up roller skates while singing the 1977 hit. A bottle of cranberry juice appears in the background as an homage to Apodaca’s original clip. Nicks tagged Dogg Face, Apodaca’s TikTok account, alongside the caption “Afternoon vibe. Lace ‘em up!”

The TikTok star has also attracted the attention of Ocean Spray, the brand whose cranberry juice he drinks in the video. In response to the video’s popularity, the juice brand gifted Apodaca a new Nissan truck, which he showcased in a later TikTok.

Conclusion

TikTok has given rebirth to all the old songs which are somewhere in the back of people’s minds. All the TikTok stars deserve the credit for rewinding the songs and music bands. These TikTok stars have shown us a new perspective to look at life. We all are looking ahead for more creativity.
