Is Area 51 IPTV Down?

The customers of Area 51 IPTV received a disappointing message in their mails. The site link was down due to a copyright strike by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment. This is a combination of more than thirty or more major entertainment companies and movie studios.

In the last week of June, customers started receiving emails which clearly mentioned that after many years of active services, Area 51 would be shutting down. The email began with

“We have been forced to make this very difficult decision and close Area 51. We had quite a run, and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without customers like you,”

The email from the company indicated that another company known as Outer Limits would be taking over all of Area 51’s customer accounts.

The company suggested there clients to log in to a new site created by Outer Limits with their current Area 51 login credentials. This way they would not lose their subscription. They have given the link of the Outer Limits site to log in.

Users of this company were trying to browse the concern page but it was not available on the internet. However, the site of Area 51 IPTV has been renamed as Singularity Media and now users can find this site on the internet through browsing.

This suggests that it has re branded itself due to copyright strike. It can now be easily accessed through the name of Singularity Media, and users can subscribe to themselves.
