Edot was a drill rapper belonging to the Sugar Hill neighborhood in Harlem, New York City. At the age of passing, he was just 17. He was born on February 7, 2005.
Edot Baby had just started his career. He looked up to famous rappers like Young Thug, Lil Baby, and NBA YounBoy to take inspiration from.
While talking to On the Radar in an interview, Edot talked about his inspiration behind making music. He also addressed his collab record with Dusty Locane saying the below words:
“For me, it was the melodic rappers growing up. When you’re in New York, it’s [drill music] all around you. Being that it’s all around you, I thought why not? Let me give it a try”.
Edot started rap singing at a very young age and he rolled his first single, Ready 4 War, in 2020 at the age of 15. The music video was hugely applauded by his fans and it earned more than 3.4 million views.

This year on March 18, 2022, Edot released his first studio album, E With The Dot. Later in September 2022, he also dropped You Started, I Finish, his second studio album.
