At the time of writing, the Instagram subscription feature is in its testing phase. For now, it is available for a few users only and is not made available for all its content creators.

However, according to the initial information the subscription feature will be available for different prices. The influencer has to decide the price they want their followers to pay against getting access to their content.

Based on the pricing strategy, there will be multiple features available for the users. Some of the options that we have come to know so far include subscriber stories, subscriber lives, subscriber badges, and many more.

All the content and the features of the content creator will be available only to the subscribers. So, the thing is, you will have to pay your favorite content creator in order to watch their content.

For now, Instagram has selected a few top content creators for this testing phase. The content creators who have access to this feature include:

Although this addition is a plus for content creators, fans are not really happy with it. Imagine you now have to pay money in order to see the content of your favorite influencers? Well, doesn’t seem a good idea.

As soon as the users have come to know about this feature, they have taken it to Twitter. In the Twitter threads, users are revealing that they are not going to pay for watching anyone’s content. Here is what users have to say about this new Instagram feature.
