The recent trend, the milk crate challenge left several users injured as it asked them to walk on a staircase created with milk crates.

It asks the users to place a small metal magnetic ball on their tongue to create the look of a tongue piercing. As several youngsters have tried the challenge, they have ended up in the hospitals for swallowing the magnetic balls. Some of the hospitalized children are said to have serious complications and surgeries afterward.
Currently, another bizarre trend is flaunting across the foryou page of TikTok and users have slammed it over various social media platforms. It’s about playing a trick on users but it has caused havoc amongst British neighborhoods.

The Beaning Trend is quite similar to the disgusting egging trend, which involved users throwing eggs at someone’s house. Egging is a quote popular vandalism prank that also became famous on the video-sharing app.
However, to complete the Beaning Trend users are using baked beans be it Heinz, Branston, or Sainsbury’s own brand, and throwing them on the doorsteps leaving a nasty surprise for owners.
The users who are taking part in it have even come up with a name for themselves. They call themselves the Bean Bandits.
Videos having the hashtag #BeanBandits have amassed more than 1.9 million views as of now. The trend has started in the UK, where baked beans are popular but it has now spread to all parts of the world. In countries where baked beans aren’t much popular, trend adopters are using types of beans, like kidney or pinto.
The trend has reached to alarming position in the UK. West Yorkshire Police has even urged shops to stop selling beans to kids. A police officer named “Michelle Owens” said, “It has come to the attention of the police that a new trend has started by groups of youths called ‘beaning’.”
“This involves youths throwing the contents of a can of beans over properties, very similar to the trend of throwing eggs at properties,” she continued.
“If you work in a shop, please can you be aware of youths buying large quantities of cans of beans. If you have children living at home, please be mindful if you see them removing cans of beans from the family home.”
Users have also discussed the trend on Twitter and various other social media platforms. One user wrote on Twitter, The big discussion on British morning TV today is “beaning”. It is apparently an evil trend that’s “taking over” TikTok, where kids pour baked beans on stuff. What a waste of beans. It’s being taken very, very seriously.”
Several users have also requested TikTok to ban the trend from the platform; however, no action has been taken so far.
