As per the initial reports from Dallas police, Nestor Hernandez was wearing an active ankle monitor. He was shot by a hospital police officer and was taken to another hospital for treatment prior to arresting him.
According to the reports from Fox 4 News, Nestor Hernandez is charged with capital murder. The hospital has addressed this shocking incident in one of its recent press releases saying:
“The Methodist Health System Family is heartbroken at the loss of two of our beloved team members”. “Our entire organization is grieving this unimaginable tragedy. During this devastating time, we want to ensure our patients, physicians, employees, and community that Methodist Dallas Medical Center is safe, and there is no ongoing threat.”
