If you are live on TikTok, then you might have seen a video, where a woman shares her experience of applying glue on her hair. She applied the glue after confusing it with a hair spray. The results were quite horrible as she was unable to remove the adhesive out of her hair.
Despite of washing her hair a hundred times, she was still not able to get rid of glue out of her scalp. The video went viral on TikTok and many people on internet warned their fellow social media users to not to try this. The Gorilla Glue Challenge is not quite popular as of now, because of the risks attached to it. But, there are some insane users who have already taken that risk. The challenge relates with the recent incident, where a 40 year old TikTok user Tessica Brown aka @Im_D_Ollady applied the popular adhesive “Gorilla Glue” on her hair. It was not a publicity stunt nor a challenge, she applied it after confusing the glue with a hair spray.
As soon as she uploaded the video, it went viral on almost every social media platform. People started talking about the video and the video got mixed reactions from the social media users. Some felt sorry for the lady and they showed concern.
But there were few people who declared it as an insane publicity stunt. Among these users was a Louisiana man named as Len Martin. He said the lady is lying so, he decided to apply this powerful adhesive to his lips. What happened next? Read the next paragraph!
How To Do Gorilla Glue Challenge 2021
After applying the strong adhesive on his lips, he ended up in the emergency room. He said, we wanted to prove that the glue isn’t that strong and it is not as serious as Brown was trying to make it.
Here is what Martin told the “news station WKBN”, “I thought she was just playing around because I didn’t think it was that serious,” he further added, “I actually tried it out before and it actually didn’t do anything for me … So I was like, ‘Okay, she’s lying’ and there are all these challenges going on so I was like, ‘Okay I’m going to try it’ and it went backwards.”
He is the same TikTok user who once got arrested for licking an Ice-cream carton and putting it back in a supermarket. Martin has filmed himself while applying the glue on his lips. After ending up in emergency room he warned his fellow users to never try this.
He said ““I thought it could lick it off kind of to moisten it and pull it right off but that didn’t work. This is definitely not one to try. Let’s just stop this now … It’s very harmful,”
Some of TikTok users have considered his video as a publicity stunt but he has denied the opinion. He addressed his followers saying “I would never want to stick no Gorilla Glue to my lip and have it stuck there and go through all the situations that I had to go through, I didn’t think it would go this far … You got Valentine’s Day coming up. I can’t even kiss my lip,”
